Rationale
The film titles of Escape from Alcatraz serve as an introduction to the film and follows the journey of the main character Morris (Clint Eastwood) to Alcatraz “The Rock” in San Francisco. The mood of the original film titles opening set the mood using cold, dark, rainy night visuals and functional typography to introduce the cast and crew.

For my version, I have created animated monochrome motion graphics and was inspired by the work of the great artist and designer Saul Bass. I've also used the original music (non commercial purposes) for the video with thanks to the composer Jerry Fielding.
